What brought you to Baltimore Built? I wanted to feel better physically
and challenge myself.


How long have you been a member at Baltimore Built? 8 weeks


Were you athletic or involved in sports when growing up? If so, what
sports and or activities did you participate in?
Yes. I played basketball
all through school.


Were you working out regularly prior to joining Baltimore Built? If so,
what were you doing?
No. I did some light work at Planet Fitness
starting about two weeks before I joined Baltimore Built.


Why do you workout? Because I want to do hard things. I want to be
strong and have energy, and live a healthier, longer life for myself and
my family.


What is your favorite lift or movement and why? Deadlift because of
how springy my legs feel afterwards.


What is your favorite workout or type of workout and why? Cardio on
Friday because it’s the last thing I do in class for the week and I can go
super hard and not leave anything in the tank.


What have you accomplished as an athlete (big or small) during your
time at Baltimore Built?
I’ve lost 16 pounds in 8 weeks and I’ve found
a love for running.


What fitness goals do you have for the next year? Lose 25-30 more
pounds and run a half marathon.

How has your fitness influenced and/or impacted your life outside of
the gym?
 I feel much healthier and have tons more energy. It’s also
made me more disciplined in other areas.


What hobbies and activities do you enjoy outside of the gym? Running,
spending time with family.
