Were you athletic or involved in sports when growing up? I was. I
played basketball when I was young, lacrosse and was an all-star
cheerleader until my freshman year of college.

Were you working out regularly prior to joining BBS&C? If so, what
were you doing?
I did CrossFit in Myrtle Beach from 2016-2018, when I
moved I popped in and out of a gym in Williamsburg, VA for about a

Why do you workout? Because it’s fun and it really improves my
mental and physical health. It lifts my moods and sets a spiral into
other healthy habits for me. And mainly it’s my social hour, lol.

What is your favorite lift or movement and why? Clean and jerk.
Throwing a barbell that feels heavy and dropping under it just feels so
good! No matter the weight on the bar I feel strong, fit and just happy.

What is your favorite workout or type of workout and why? 10-15 min.
wod with a heavy barbell/barbell ladder and gymnastics (No cardio.
Cardio makes me grumpy, lol.).

What have you accomplished as an athlete (big or small) during your
time at BBS&C?
I started weightlifting programing and found a BIG
LOVE for it! Thanks to BB I have been able to lift in two meets, one I
placed in and another I qualified for an American Open Series.

What fitness goals do you have for the next year? I want to hit some
PR’s and clean up my nutrition. My main goal is to keep my focus
throughout the whole year.

How has your fitness influenced and/or impacted your life outside of
the gym?
It has changed my life from what I do day to day, how I take
care of my body, the knowledge I choose to learn, and the people I
surround myself with. It has given me some of my best friends,
incredible role models and some awesome memories/stories. It’s
taught me how to be proud of my wins and hard work no matter how
small. I’ve had a lot to be proud of since entering this world.
