Length Of Time CrossFitting: 2 and a half months

Favorite Lift and Why: Clean and jerk. It’s a complex lift that hits several different muscle groups at once. My form still needs work but I have definitely progressed.

Favorite WOD and Why: I love the partnered WODs, especially EMOMS. It helps me to get out of my own head and focus on getting through the next minute. Always nice to have a partner to help push you.

Goals for the Next Year: My goals for the next year are simple. Bigger, Faster, Stronger. I want to get to a point where I am scaling less during the WODs.

How has CrossFit Impacted your Life?  CrossFit has completely changed my life. I have wanted to get healthy and back into shape for a long time now. I lacked the structure and motivation to do that as well as having a lifestyle that was holding me back from my goals. Joining CrossFit Baltimore was more like gaining a fitness family that encourages me to be better and try harder every day. This place makes the hardest workouts seem strangely fun and all of the awesome people and coaches make it easy to show up on the hard/sore days when the “couch” may be calling. My goals have already shifted from just “getting healthy” to being the most fit version of myself that I can be.
