Favorite Lift and Why: My favorite lift would be the snatch because I love the complexity of the lift and how it challenges me both physically and mentally. There is no better feeling than hitting a heavy snatch!
Favorite WOD and Why: I like any WOD that incorporates heavy barbell work. DT would have to be one of my favorite ones to do.
Goals for the Next Year: Be able to do handstand push-ups, handstand walks and muscle ups. Really anything in the gymnastics realm because that is where I feel I could use the most improvement. Also, to compete in my first weightlifting competition!
How has CrossFit Impacted your Life? Honestly, the community of CrossFit has impacted me the most, especially the CFB fam. I love coming in everyday knowing that the people at CFB will push me and motivate me to always do my best. My whole life I have played team sports, so having a community like CFB is like being on a team because, even though you are working as an individual, we are all working towards the same goal and that is to be a better version of ourselves than we were the day before. I have become a better athlete because of the coaches and members at CFB because of this.
